March Money Saving Tips!

It’s March already!  If your New Year’s resolution was to take control of your finances, there is still time to meet that goal.  We have entered the third quarter of the year.  Have you formulated a plan for your family finances?  Have you created a robust strategy, or are you just winging it?  I shared some simple March money tips on some of my social media platforms that could be very helpful.

  1. Manage your money, and don’t let it manage you.
  2. Assess your accounts and assign every dollar—Take a moment to review all your accounts, including checking and savings bank accounts, stocks, annuities, etc. Unaccounted cash can cost you BIG!  If you don’t know where you spent it, consider it unaccounted for.
  3. Relax – Remember to relax.  Don’t worry about next month or next year.
  4. Cash flow – Eliminate waste and create cash flow.
  5. Hassle-free – This month, don’t sweat the small stuff. Most things we worry about never happen.

The most important key to financial wellness is to “Decide.”  Nothing happens without a decision.
